My Story
Hello! My name is Melissa Williams and I am the proud owner of This Miss Bakes, LLC.
At This Miss Bakes, I am proud to serve the community a source for sweet treats in Glenview, Illinois. Since last spring, my woman-owned scratch cottage bakery has created delicious delicacies for every occasion. Visit me to treat yourself to something sweet because at This Miss Bakes, no one leaves empty handed.
It all started when I was a bored 8-year-old and peanut butter and jelly just wouldn't cut it: I wanted cake. So, I grabbed the nearest cookbook & started my baking journey. Over the years my passion would grow as I made cakes and various sweets for my family, and I loved how it brought everyone together. Throughout the years I have worked at various kitchen in Chicago & across the Midwest, went to culinary school to refine my skills. I learned about food allergens & how many people cannot find products that fit their lifestyle and decided to start baking for everyone and offer myself and services to the community.
